The Higgins Construction 'Projects of the Year 2010' are Downham Road and LBBD Decent Homes.
Downham Road
Client : A2Dominion
This design and build contract has seen the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of a new concrete framed structure of 7 floors, which include commercial units in the basement. This project has delivered 50 new homes, including rent, shared ownership and private sales.
LBBD Decent Homes Phase 2
Client : London Borough of Barking & Dagenham
Following on from a successful pilot scheme we were awarded Phase 2 of this multi million pound refurbishment programme. We have once again been able to show our high standard and professionalism of delivery in bringing the existing housing stock up to the Decent Homes Standard.
