Triathlon for Barnardos

Since the announcement of Higgins Group PLC’s partnership with one of the UK’s largest charities Barnardos, 3 members of staff and the supply chain are embarking on a triathlon challenge for the charity.
They are taking part in the Windsor Triathlon on Sunday 14th June 2010, and raising money through sponsorship. Allan Ronald (Sustainability Manager), Robert Jarvis (Building Surveyor at Forest Gate PFI) and Wayne Seaby from Seabro Scaffolding are competing in this event which comprises of a 1.5 km open water swim, 40 km bike ride and 10km run, with the aim of raising funds to support the work at The Hub Centre.
The Hub Centre in Stepney Green is a construction skills training centre run by Barnardos and supported by Higgins Construction PLC.
